If you find yourself in Chicago this holiday season, stop at Macy’s on State Street. While you’re sure to find gifts for everyone on your list, the real draw is The Walnut Room restaurant, located on the seventh floor of what once was Marshall Field’s.

The 17,000-square-foot dining room features extensive walnut paneling (giving it its name), and dresses up for the season with a 45-foot-tall Christmas tree that nearly reaches the ceiling.

Locals and visitors alike can warm up with the restaurant’s famous Chicken Pot Pie and French onion soup to take a break from shopping or before heading to a show.

Find out more information about the restaurant at macysrestaurants.com or by calling (312) 781-3139.
