“It Can Wait” Campaign Encourages Safe Driving
No text is more important than a life. Through that simple message, AT&T’s “It Can Wait” campaign encourages safe driving with a pledge not to text and drive.
The Illinois Farm Bureau & Affiliates Youth Education Program joined in the movement along with the Illinois FFA Association, the state chapter of the national organization that makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing personal growth and career success. Both organizations promoted the campaign at a pledge drive last fall.
Several Illinois FFA section and chapter officers have already signed pledges, and the state’s 17,000 FFA members will work with AT&T to increase that number, especially among younger drivers.
