Painted Victorian home in Vandalia
Illinois Farm Bureau member and photographer Ron Caimi hit the road to photograph life along the way.
Caimi set out on a photographic journey along U.S. 40, the National Road, from Illinois to Maryland. Earlier this year, the photographer completed his trek through Illinois, capturing images of several landmarks along the way.
Caimi’s travels led him to gather photos featuring the world’s largest golf tee in Casey, the National Road Statue in Greenville and the first Illinois capitol building in Vandalia, among others.
