Find out where your food comes from at the Saint Louis Science Center’s GROW exhibit.
The sprawling 1-acre exhibit covers everything from botany basics to farm technology, including a simulated milking parlor, chicken coop, greenhouses, hands-on farming tools, a native plant garden and much more. In fact, the exhibit encompasses more than 40 activities designed to educate visitors about the journey of food, and it continues to add new attractions.
County Farm Bureaus across Illinois helped raise funds for the exhibit, which went toward an interactive map that provides a high-definition, aerial view of farms, roads and cities across Illinois.
