Rolling hills and heavily wooded ridges set this park apart from the prarie land you’ll find in most of Illinois. A beautiful deck, “Eagle’s Nest” overlooks the river, providing stunning views. Don’t be afraid of the 144 steps it takes to climb the stairs to get there, it’s worth it!
