Peoria will be flooded with alpaca lovers later this month, as the city has been chosen to host the 2018 National Alpaca Show, sponsored by Fun in the Country Alpacas.
The show draws hundreds of enthusiasts from across the country, and feature a show ring competition, alpaca selfie booth, alpaca costume contest, and more. Visitors can meet a variety of alpacas face-to-face and the show is free.
Held at the Peoria Civic Center, the show will be March 23-24 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and March 25 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, visit alpacanationals.com.
