Eagle Watching at Starved Rock Park

Standing Bear Winter Gathering & Great River Eagle Days

Jan. 26-27, 2019, Quincy

Participants honor Native American traditions with a variety of sacred ceremonies and entertainment. Throughout the weekend, the event will feature educational activities, Native American vendors and foods, dancers and drummers, and much more. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers also sets up areas for viewing eagles on the river. The event takes place in Quincy at the Oakley Lindsay Center, with $5 admission for adults, $3 for adults over 60, and free entry for children under 12.
