The Kane County Farm Bureau Foundation will host its 13th annual Touch-A-Tractor during the second weekend of April. Activities will take place on the front lawn of the Kane County Farm Bureau offices.

This family-friendly event is open to the public and will include a wide array of activities for children and adults of all ages, including pedal tractor rides, shelling corn, face painting and book readings throughout the weekend. Families can explore farm machines of the past and present.

In addition to the Touch-A-Tractor festivities, the KCFB Foundation will also sell tickets for the 2018 Winner’s Choice Raffle. The winner of the raffle can choose between a 1965 ford F100 Pick-Up Truck, John Deere X350 riding lawn mower, or $3,500 in cash. A winner will be named in July at the Kane County Fair.

To close out the weekend, the Kane County Farm Bureau foundation will also announce 24 college scholarship recipients for the 2018-2019 academic year.

Tickets can be purchased for $5 per family, $2 per adult or show a Winner’s Choice Raffle ticket stub for free admission at the event.

Festivities kick off Friday, April 6 and run through Sunday, April 8.
