Sometimes the best way to learn about agriculture is to see it in action. Now, you might not be able to travel to Maine and see cranberry bogs firsthand, but the television program America’s Heartland can give you the inside look you crave.

In its fifth season, the show has covered more than 300 agriculture-related stories from all over the country, including Illinois. America’s Heartland airs on PBS and RFD-TV. You can also view episodes at www.americasheartland.org.
