If you’d like to see what a modern beef farm looks like, make plans to attend an open house this Saturday, June 11 in northern Illinois.
The Illinois Livestock Development Group invites you to two free events. Both take place in LaSalle County.
The Adams family farm will host an open house at 10 a.m. with a ribbon cutting at 10:30 a.m. It’s located at 4435 E. 2750th Rd., Sandwich.
The Dau family farm open house will start at 12 p.m. with a ribbon cutting at 12:15 p.m. It offers a free hamburger lunch. This open house takes place at 2334 N. 42nd Rd., Sheridan.
Both are within close proximity to each other. They offer an opportunity to learn about today’s beef farms that allow for cattle comfort and help beef farmers practice environmental stewardship.
