PieBox

When Chicago pastry school student Adrienne Blumthal found herself struggling with transporting her precious baked goods, she decided to take matters into her own hands.

Blumthal had perfected her favorite dessert – pie – but wanted a carrier more aesthetically pleasing than plastic containers. So, she invented the Piebox.

With the assistance of her fiance and sister, Blumthal built the first PieBox out of pine wood, a neutral color to show off the beauty of the baked treat inside. CakeBox soon followed. Each sturdy box houses one pie or cake and comes with an optional strap for carrying. Learn more about PieBox and how to order at piebox.com.
